What is the application process like?

For faster processing, we request that you submit your application documents via e-mail (preferably as a PDF).

Application documents:

  • Cover letter
  • Brief CV
  • Relevant diplomas and work references

All incoming applications will be reviewed by the HR department and will undergo a pre-selection process. Applications that draw our interest will then be forwarded to the responsible department manager.
During the application process, we will determine whether the application fits the available job vacancy, as well as whether they may be eligible for other positions within the company.
If the application passes initial selection rounds, the applicant will receive an invitation to interview with us. We will discuss all further details at this appointment.
If we determine, after a careful review, that we cannot consider the application further, then we will provide written feedback as quickly as possible.

What will happen to my personal data?

We process data provided to us in an application for the purpose of determining whether a candidate is suitable for a position (or any other open positions within our company) and to carry out the application process.
The primary legal basis for processing personal data in this application process is Sec. 26 BDSG in the version valid as of 5/25/2018. Applicant data is reviewed by the HR department after your application is received. Suitable applications are then forwarded internally to department managers for the open position in question, who coordinates the next steps in the process. Only company personnel who require the data in order to carry out our application process will receive access to it.

If an applicant is rejected, their data will be deleted after 6 months.

If the applicant consents to the continued storage of their personal data, then we will include this data in our applicant pool. Data in the pool is deleted after two years.

If an applicant is hired for a position after the application process, then their data will be transferred from the applicant data system to our HR department system.
